NEW FEATURE: 7 Meals Under $60 at Meijer This Week #meijermealplanning

Welcome to the Meijer section of A Mitten Full Of Savings! Here you will find tons of great deals for this week, as well as need-to-know Meijer tips. So after checking out this deal, stay for a while to get acquainted with this site and the Meijer section of the blog! And be sure to join our Meijer Facebook Group!

So I have something a little different to share with you guys about Meijer this week! This is my first week doing this, so I’m working out the kinks and we will continue to make it better!

The biggest thing I see when it comes to people trying their hand at extreme couponing, doing run deals, stocking etc is mostly on non-food items. Yes, the food deals are out there but many people don’t know how to pair them together to get the best price. The other issue I see is a ton of coupons for a whole lot of processed food. Now, I have brought my share of processed stuff but over the years (you learn more you do better) cut most of it out. There are a few processed things here and there that I may still buy. But I try really hard to make all of our meals fresh, incorporate Gluten Free when I can and figure out the best meals ideas for our family. With kids, during the school year I’m always looking for easy, budget-friendly and healthy. Just recently we took the veggies from our Garden, along with some meat to create a totally healthy meal (Swiss Chard & Kale) for under $10 bucks (you can check it out here)

So here’s what we’ve put together- and you tell me if you want to see this continue every week. (I’m also looking at doing one that is exclusively Gluten Free each week.) Again, feedback is always appreciated. This will tell me if we should continue doing this or scrap it!
