Easy Holiday Bundt cake to make: Chocolate Peppermint Bundt Cake

Chocolate Peppermint Bundt Cake

Chocolate Peppermint Bundt Cake

Peppermint is always in abundance during the Holiday season!
Add some Chocolate to go along with it and you’ve got yourself a sweet recipe. I like to cheat by using box cake mixed. Hey.. don’t judge me. I’m all about taking shortcuts where the food/desserts still taste ah-mazing but I was able to cut a few corners (and save some money too)

So check out this cute and peppermint recipe for Bundt Cake. Also while you’re at it, you can check out this Peppermint Chocolate Bark recipe as well (it’s been a big hit this year!)

Chocolate Peppermint Bundt Cake ingredients

INGREDIENTS:
1 box Dark Chocolate Cake Mix (I used Pillsbury Moist Supreme)
3 Eggs (follow box)
1 cup Water (follow box)
1/3 Cup Oil (follow box)
1 tsp Peppermint Extract
8 oz Semi Sweet Morsels
4 oz Heavy Cream
10 Peppermint candies

Bake according to box directions.
Place morsels in microwave safe bowl.
Add heavy cream.
Heat in 30 second increments and then stir until shiny and well blended.
If mixture seems too thick add a bit more cream.
Drizzle chocolate ganache over cake allowing it to drizzle down sides.
Crush peppermint candies in food processor.
Sprinkle over chocolate ganache as a garnish.
