Jackson Concert Series: {FREE Event}

Jammin in Jackson:

Jammin’ in Jackson is a FREE, after-work, summer concert series every second and fourth Friday from 6-8pm at Horace Blackman Park in Jackson. (FREE movie starts after this event) **I have not found updated information for 2019.

MSUFCU Kids’ Night Out  {free event}

July 9th, 2019, starting at 5 pm- 7pm

At 5 pm Radio Disney Detroit will be at Eastwood Towne Center to help rock the night away during Kids’ Night Out!  They will be providing loads of family entertainment including the Radio Disney Road Crew Show – a highly interactive performance hosted by local Radio Disney Talent and filled with cool music, games, and tons of prizes for the whole family!

Enjoy live music with Tim the Music Man from 6pm to 7pm!  http://www.timthemusicmansings.com/

Additional activities include a Lansing Township Fire Truck and Police Car, face painting, balloon animals and The Michigan Stiltwalker.

East Lansing Summer Outdoor Series {free event}

The City of East Lansing hosts a popular outdoor Summer Concert Series, featuring seven weekends of live music on Fridays and Saturdays in the Ann Street Plaza in downtown East Lansing (corner of Albert & MAC Avenues). Bring a lawn chair or blanket and grab a bite to eat in downtown East Lansing. Concert begins at 7p.m. If it rains, the concert will be canceled.

LCC Summer Theater {FREE EVENT}

Lansing Community College takes its performing arts outdoors every summer for a festival of music, theater and dance that lasts from June through late July. All shows are free and all shows begin at 7 p.m.

The Holt Community Arts Council’s “Music in the Garden” {FREE Event}MUSIC IN THE GARDEN

All shows are at 7:00 p.m. and are free of charge to the public. the concerts are held in the amphitheater of the beautiful Veterans Memorial Gardens in Holt (2074 Aurelius Road, Holt MI 48842).

July 11 – Teddy Petty & The Refugees – Tom Petty Tribute Band- Be ready to feel all the power and passion that went into over 30 years of Tom Petty’s best selling songs. This show includes all the look and feel of Tom Petty, presented by top industry professionals. From the smooth guitar tones and layered vocals, to the signature Rickenbacker.
July 18 – The Dangling Participles – This Lansing-based band has a diverse song set ranging from folk and Americana to Latin jazz and blues.
July 25 – Full House Band – A six piece band (five vocalists), playing 2000-2018 hits, plus hits from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. They appeared on America’s Got Talent in 2018.
August 1 – Root Doctor – Back by popular demand, Root Doctor is an award winning Michigan based blues and soul band.
